What gets me about the caulk,is on a house that has bat and board siding,they caulk every piece of trim on it.But a stucco house ,they cant caulk around the windows Is it really all about the builders being to cheap?How much does a painter charge to caulk trim on 16 inch centers?How much could it be to just caulk around windows?I heard one painter foreman telling his crew one day"do not worry to much about the caulking between the window and trim,its just for looks any way.They have a metal flange around them that keeps the water out" Stupidity is in every trade,We are just the ones that have to deal with the city screwing ours over,making changes that will not help. |
