We complain about all the builders that do not care about anything but how much money they save.I just want to give props to several that TRY to do things right.We have one that pays to have all the trim furred out ,in my opinion , the best way to get a good seal between stucco and trim.He also pays for an acrylic finish.We have several that are caulking the stucco to the trim and using elastomeric paint.I do not know if they are painted right,but at least some are trying.Just wanted new home buyers to know that there are a few good ones left.check the builders credentials,Get names of people they built houses for thru the years.If a builder is telling you he will build a house cheaper than the others,thats a good sign you are about to be screwed. |
