You know we've done a lot of griping about contractors not training there help, but what about the builders? I know from personal experience that on more than many occasions I have found myself in a situation where I am having a hard time doing my job because of another trades deficiencies, and I find myself trying to explain the problem to the super and they just don't get it or just don't care. Then they think I'm being and ***hole over the whole deal. I think the builders need to hire better people and police the people that they have a little better. Hey here is a novel idea send your supers to continuing education class's. You have to pass a test and be licensed to build houses but what good is that going to do when all you do is drive by the house once a week. I think the supers are the ones that also need to be trained certified or licensed. If an insurance broker hires people to sell insurance for him they need to be licensed also. |
