We do feel sorry for the Codes Inspectors.  It must be hard to keep up with all the different codes and laws and stuff.  And especially hard to keep abreast of all the new techniques that builders come up with.

But we have found there is a NEW and IMPROVED method for installing that "Feel good" appearance of protection while preserving a natural resource. . . Money, err, we mean METAL!
You see, what you do is go to all the time and trouble
to form seperate pieces of metal
.
Tack metal from above so it just hangs over the edge.
That way, the Inspector and the eventual home owner, when looking at the job from the ground
"KNOW" that it's been done right!
That is unless some Jerk (like our crews) climbs up there and pulls up the edge.
That's the only way ANYONE will ever know that this house,
(where ever it is).

1.) Tricked the inspectors

2.) Doesn't meet codes

2.) Will leak

and

3.) Saved the builder a few pennies at the price of the homeowner who will be "up the Creek" without a warranty down the road.
Some low rent, fly-by-night builder you say?

Well, where we come from the Answer is
"YOU AIN'T GONNA BELIEVE THIS SHIT!"

That is, you wouldn't if we told you . . .
but we're not gonna. . .
We already got enough people lined up to kick our butts!
For example, most people will follow the "Old Codes" and flash the windows with metal trim so home owners get that warm fuzzy feeling that something will keep the rain from getting in.

How old fashion.
It's called
"Faux' Flashing"

(copyright pending;-)

in the more fashionable areas.
